Caney Skies - Country Lodge - Rustic Charm Meets Luxurious Comfort

Caney Skies Lodge is the perfect place that can accommodate all types of guests, whether it is for small families looking for a wknd getaway, multiple families planning a getaway trip or groups of hunters that are chasing those Oklahoma Whitetails or following the Migration down and looking to hunt around Hulah and Copan Lakes!

Location:
Caney Skies sits due west of Copan, Ok and Highway 75 less than 7 miles away and only 3 miles from Hwy 10 making for a quick and easy commute. Only 20 min north of Bartlesville, Ok and 35 min away from Historic Pawhuska, Ok.

Recreational Activities nearby:
Being in close proximity to Copan Lake which is only 3 miles away, and Hulah lake which is only 7 miles away makes this an ideal location to explore all the recreational activities the lakes have to offer including: fishing, boating, swimming and hunting.

For the groups looking for opportunities to hunt whitetails, waterfowl, turkeys or hogs there is no shortage of Public Hunting Wildlife Management Areas to getaway on including close to 15,000 acres of Hulah WMA and just under 13,000 acres of Copan WMA land.

The Property:
Caney Skies has over 40 acres of land to explore that is open to our guest which includes trail systems to walk/hike around and fishing in the Caney River! Getting out and walking in mother nature does something to the soul and this property can help with that. Caney River is also known for its large catfish and big crappie! No swimming is allowed at this time.

Around the House:
One of the most unique features about Caney Skies that are guest can't get enough of is the fire pit and hot tub sitting out back overlooking the Caney River bottom. The views are truly spectacular and sunsets just hit different while enjoying a cold beverage around the fire or relaxing under the stars in the hot tub! Enjoy fun yard games with friends and family like Cornhole, Horse Shoes, Jenga or Connect Four. There is plenty of front yard space to throw a football or baseball around or kick a soccer ball with the kids and plenty of lounging and seating under the covered patio!

Inside:
The biggest attraction of the lodge is the large Game room that has plenty of activities to do including pool, shuffle board, foosball, poker table or arcade games! The large 70" TV with a sectional couch is a great spot to relax for the evening watching a movie or putting a game on with the guys! Don't forget the wet bar in the corner and large bar top in the center that can sit up to 8 people at a time.

Where you will sleep:
The lodge is setup with 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms sleeping around 14-16 guests.

#1: Sleeping for more than 2, this bedroom has two queen beds and can sleep up to 4 and comes with a dresser and small computer desk, along with a flatscreen TV

#2: The master bedroom has a king bed, its own patio door, a master bathroom a flat screen TV and a computer desk incase some work has to be accomplished.

#3: Can sleep plenty with 2 full size bunk beds which can sleep up to 6 people, a dresser and flat screen TV.

#4: Comes with a queen size bed and large flatscreen TV with a closet and shared bathroom with bedroom #5.

#5: We would call this a kids room which is setup with a twin bunk bed.

Common Areas:
There are 2 main common areas which are the game room and living room. This sets up very well for different groups, families, adults and kids that want to gather in different areas for different games, movies or just relaxation. The living room has a very quiet and calm feel to it while the game room has plenty of activities to do for all!

Kitchen and Dining:
The kitchen has 2 sinks and a large island and plenty of countertop space which helps with large groups where multiple cooks can be in the kitchen at the same time preparing meals. There is a large pantry to store all of your groceries for the week as well!

Have your pick on dining! There are seats around the kitchen island, and a table that can sit 8 in the dining room. If that doesn't fit your fancy try the 2 large tables outside under the covered patio to enjoy your meal or head to the game room and sit at the bar top while watching a show!

Stay connected with Starlink highspeed internet for those needing to do some work while vacationing! Each room is setup with a smart tv and connected to the internet incase you need to catch up on your Netflix shows!

There is onsite washer and dryer for extended stays for those needing to do some loads of laundry!

Local Towns: Caney Skies is located approx. 10 min from Copan, Ok which has a gas station and dollar general for quick necessities. Only 15 miles to Bartlesville which is one of the larger towns in the area of approx. 38,000 people and plenty of things to do. Lastly, its 35 minutes from historic tourists destination Pawhuska, Ok where you will find the Pioneer Women's Mercantile and the Tallgrass Prairies to go visit and see the buffalo roam.
